WWW Wednesday – 17th March 2021

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I really enjoying taking part in this. For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you finish reading recently?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading the following three books:

1- Our March #TsundokuSquad Book ‘The Islanders’ by S.V Leanard – I’ve read section two and am enjoying it so far!

2- Shift by Hugh Howey; the second in the trilogy – I’m reading this as a buddy read.

3- The 24 Hour Cafe by Libby Page – I’m only 30% into this one so far but am LOVING it!

What did you finish reading recently?

Since my last post I’ve finished Dog Days by Ericka Waller, which I gave 4/5 stars to. My review was posted up here a few days ago. I also DNF’d The Locksmith by Linda Calvey. This was a real shame as I was supposed to be on the blog tour for it, but we can’t love every book we pick up unfortunately.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up I am planning to read:

1-A Short History of England by Simon Jenkins to tick off a Non-Fiction from my list and from my 21 for 2021 list.

2-Hercule Poirot short stories by Agatha Christie – I have a version which has a few stories in so I’ll work my way through some of them. I think it’s just what I need at the moment, something easy and captivating.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my WWW Wednesday post, please drop in and leave a comment.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?

  1. I have a weird obsession with books about cafes! (Maybe I’m supposed to work in one?!). One of my favourites is Meet Me At The Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan – great book if you ever get the chance to read it. I’ll have to try The 24 Hour Cafe!
