WWW Wednesday – 4th August

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I’ve done this a couple of times now and I am really enjoying taking part. For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you finish reading recently?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading three books:

1 – Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel. This is my latest Traveling Tale book as part of the book club and I’m surprisingly really enjoying it so far (about 50% through) despite it not being my usual cup of tea.

2 – Did You Miss Me? by Sophia Money-Coutts. This is actually my first buddy read with my book bestie since the arrival of her baby and my fur-baby. We are doing well so far, on 37% and enjoying it.

3 – The Damage by Caitlin Wahrer. I picked this up off my NetGalley shelf as it was being raved about. If I’m honest I’m not sure I’m 100% feeling it currently, but interested to see if I change my mind as I read on.

What did you finish reading recently?

Since my last post, I have finished four books:

1- Her Last Holiday by C L Taylor – I gave this one a 3/5 stars, and you can read my review here.

2- The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin. I LOVED this book, gave it a massive 5/5. Read my review here to find out why.

3 – THUG by Angie Thomas. The July #TsundokuSquad read, our group review can be read here.

4 – Dog Tales by Penelope Rich and Isabel Muñoz. You can read my review here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up, I’m planning on reading The Man Who Mistook His Job for His Life by Naomi Shragai.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my WWW Wednesday post, please drop in and leave a comment.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?
