What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading three books:
1- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. This is the July #TsundokuSquad read, we are discussing part one this Saturday evening. It arrived yesterday so I’m only a handful of pages in so far…
2- The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell. I’m about 50% of the way through this one and I’m loving it so far, can’t wait to see what happens!
What did you finish reading recently?
Since my last post I have finished SIX books… and I thought my five last week was an impressive turn around!!!
1- Seepless by Romy Hausmann – I read this for a blog tour on the 25th and you can see my review here.
2- Eight Perfect Hours by Lia Louis. You can read my review here! I loved this one so much!
3- Power Hour by Adrienne Herbert – a non-fiction which I sped through. Review can be seen here.
4- The Last Thing to Burn by Will Dean! This one absolutely blew me away!! Review here!
5- The Lock In by Phoebe Luckhurst. Review is here.
6- This is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay. Another one that I flee through, review will be up shortly, so keep your eyes peeled!

Next up I am planning to start these two books:
1- Where the Crawdads Sign by Delia Owens. I’m running a group buddy read for this one in July and I can’t wait to get started. First part up for discussion on the 7th.
2- The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin. Another buddy read I’m running, first part up for discussion on the 11th.

I’ve just finished The Dry by Jane Harper. It is a real page turner as a whodunnit but as someone who grew up in the arid rural Australian environment in which the book is set I found some of the descriptions frustrating.
I’m currently reading where the Crawdads Sing. It is beautifully written. I think you’ll love it.
Next I’m going back to a Sam Selvon book, Moses Migrating. I will then have read all is quirky and bitter sweet stories of life for black men in 1960s London and Trinidad.
