WWW Wednesday – 26th January

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I did this religiously last year and for some reason I haven’t done one since 2nd December!! Don’t worry though I’ll spare you all a huge post of what I’ve been reading since then and just start from last Wednesday and re-start my cycle. Hopefully, I get back into the grove and keep these every week!

For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you finish reading recently?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading to three books:

  1. The Party Crasher by Sophie Kinsella. Buddy reading this one with my book bestie.
  2. Dark Eden by Chris Beckett. This one I bought new from Waterstones months ago, finally giving it a go…

What did you finish reading recently?

Since my last post, I have had quite the week of reading and finished FIVE books:

  1. Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart. My review is here.
  2. The No Show by Beth O’Leary. Our January #TsundokuSquad read, our wrap up will go up this Sunday!
  3. As Good As Dead by Holly Jackson. My review is here.
  4. A Tidy Ending by Joanna Cannon. My review is here.
  5. Invisible Girl by Lisa Jewell on audiobook. My review will be up on Friday, so keep your eyes peeled.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up, I’m planning to start Em and Me by Beth Morrey. I’m on the blog tour on the 8th, so I need to get started!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my WWW Wednesday post, please drop in and leave a comment.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?

  1. I’ve just finished Vile Bodies, one of Evelyn Waugh’s finest works. Currently reading and enjoying Ernest Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls. Next plan to indulge in some non fiction, Duncan Stone’s interesting take on the history of English cricket, Different Class, the Untold Story of English Cricket.
