I was out hunting for some book blogger tags and I came accross this one on The Book Loving Nut’s page which I fancied doing.
These are the questions:
1. Which book, most recently, did you not finish?
‘The Damage’ by Caitlin Wahrer. I was disappointed that I didn’t like it too as so many people have been raving about it! I’ve stuck it on my ‘try again another time’ shelf. This was I can try it again when I’m in a different headspace and see if I get on better with it. I do this with all the books I DNF.
2. Which book is your guilty pleasure?
Some of the books I read when I was younger; all of Roald Dahl and Jacqueline Wilson’s books! The Narnia books would also be up there! I wouldn’t consider them guilty pleasures though as there is nothing wrong with enjoying nostalgia!!
3. Which book do you love to hate?
I don’t think I really hate any books (as below) so this is a tricky one to answer!!!
4. Which book would you throw into the sea?
Hmmmm. None, I don’t think any books deserve to die that way, even if I didn’t enjoy it! Cop out answer, I know! But those who know me know I’m a serial book hoarder, even books I’ve read and hated, I’ve kept for some reason.
5. Which book have you read the most?
Without a doubt it would have to be my childhood favourite ‘Matilda’ by Roald Dahl. I must have read it into the hundreds of times. One of the few books I’ve actually re-read, ever!
6. Which book would you hate to receive as a present?
Anything that I don’t think I’ll enjoy – I’m always happy to receive books but If I know that I’m not going to enjoy it because of it’s genre like high fantasy for example, I struggle to be excited and I worry people can see through it.
7. Which book could you not live without?
Errr, I’m going to go with the same as above, the childhood favourite of mine that I must have read into the hundreds of times; ‘Matilda’ by Roald Dahl…Purely because I don’t typically re-read books so I wouldn’t know what else to pick.
8. Which book made you the angriest?
Hmmm, not that many books make me angry as I typically pick books I think I’m going to enjoy and if they let me down I am disappointed not angry… – ‘Together’ by Julie Cohen, however, did leave me very annoyed. You’ll have to read it to know why.
9. Which book made you cry the most?
Ever? Jesus… what a question! SO many books have made me cry! It has to be ‘A Little Life’ by Hanga Yanagihara, ‘PS I Love You’ by Cecelia Ahern or ‘The Sight of You’ by Holly Miller.
10. Which book cover do you hate the most?
This answer is going to be a little bit of a cop out as I’m going to say all books with movie covers rather than the original covers. I really really really don’t like them, any of them.
I’m tagging the following people to rage part but if you see this and fancy joining in, by all means, please do! (Don’t forget to tag me so I can see your answers)

Love this tag! I was such a huge Jaqueline Wilson fan when I was younger. I have bought so many of her books for my daughter hoping she will love them too. So far she isn’t that interested though haha.

Hopefully she’ll learn to love them like we do 🤞🏽❤️

I loved reading your answers. When I did the same tag, I also picked A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara as a book that made me cry. It was devastating.
