WWW Wednesday – 1st September

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I’ve done this a couple of times now and I am really enjoying taking part. For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you finish reading recently?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading six yes you read that right SIX books. This is due to me complexly over subscribing on buddy reads but I’m currently keeping above water with them all!

1- The Midnight Man by Caroline Mitchell. I’m reading this with a lovely group of ladies on Twitter. Ready for a group discussion on the 19th when we’ve all finished.

2- Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty. I’m reading this one with my buddy in parts. We’ve finished part 1 and I’m loving it so far. Interested to see where it goes.

3- Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult. This one I’m reading with a sub-branch of the The #TsundokuSquad as a few of us had it on NetGalley and wanted to read it together. Were reading it for a group discussion on the 12th.

4- The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley. This one is a group buddy read with a group of lovely people on Instagram. We’re reading a part a week and discussing. I’ve read part one and am loving it so far.

5- The Christie Affair by Nina De Gramont. This is the August #TsundokuSquad read where we break it up onto weekly parts for discussion. I’ve literally only just started this for our first chat on steady, so not sure what I think of it yet.

6- In Case You Missed It by Lindsey Kelk. This is the only book I’m reading on my own our of the six. I’m currently on page 124 and really enjoying it so far.

What did you finish reading recently?

Since my last post, I have finished 3 books:

1- The Disappearance of Stephanie Mailer by Joel Dicker. I read this as a buddy read and ended up giving it a 3/5, to find out why – read my review here.

2- Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson. This was another buddy read (different person) which I LOVED! Catch my 5/5 star review here.

3- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Another one that I loved and gave a 5/5 to. My review is here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently only focusing on the six I’m already juggling. Hopefully by next week I’ll be more streamlined and can think ahead a little…

I hope you’ve enjoyed my WWW Wednesday post, please drop in and leave a comment.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?
