The Dilemma – B.A Paris

It’s Livia’s fortieth birthday and tonight she’s having a party, a party she’s been planning for a long time. The only person missing will be her daughter, Marnie.
But Livia has a secret, a secret she’s been keeping from Adam, her husband, until the party is over. Because how can she tell him that although she loves Marnie, she’s glad their daughter won’t be there to celebrate with her?

Adam is determined everything will be just right for Livia and the party is going to be perfect… until he learns something that will leave him facing an unbearable decision.

This was not at all what I expected. I have a habit of not reading the synopsis of book prior to reading and in cases like this, it really pays off!

I ended up reading this story in a single sitting and absolutely loved it, I rated it 5/5 stars.

There are so many different elements of the story which continue to pull you in, it is truly compelling.

It really is a moral dilemma, as the title suggests! It leaves you thinking what would you do in that situation?

B. A Paris is able to build suspense at the perfect pace and does the ending justice!

Have you read this book? do you agree with my review? Drop in and leave me a comment!

    1. I agree. Livia was selfish and held such delusion of entitlement. I thought the dilemmas were laughable. In real life no one would have found it a dilemma. They would have went to their partner.
