Synopsis:

Based on the heart-breaking true story of Cilka Klein, Cilka’s Journey is the million copy bestselling sequel to The Tattooist of Auschwitz.

After liberation from Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp, Cilka Klein is charged as a collaborator by the Russians and sent to a desolate, brutal prison camp in Siberia known as Vorkuta, inside the Arctic Circle. Cilka’s Journey is a powerful testament to the triumph of the human will. It will move you to tears, but it will also leave you astonished and uplifted by one woman’s fierce determination to survive, against all odds.

Review:

Heather has done it again, I am left speechless after this book.

What a wonderful story of a brave young women throughout the most tragic of circumstances.

I absolutely loved Cilka and her story. I was incredibly invested in this and think that listening on audio really aided my experience here.

I can only hope the third by Heather is just as good. A huge five stars from me (just like her first book!)
