Review:

If I’m to be completely honest, which I always am when reviewing books…I’m not really sure how I feel about this book! I know it’s a ‘literary great’ but it didn’t leave me loving it.

I found the writing style easier than I was expecting but I still didn’t get along with it without any hitches… I was often a little confused with the characters and who was talking to who. I also didn’t fully understand all the relationships, these could have done with a little more explanation.

That being said though I did enjoy the story line and getting to know Gatsby and Daisy. If anything, maybe a slightly longer story would have worked for me?
