WWW Wednesday – 17th February 2021

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I’ve done this a couple of times now and I am really enjoying taking part. For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you finish reading recently?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading 2 books:

1- Our monthly #TsundokuSquad book; ‘Paris by Starlight’ by Robert Dinsdale. We are reading a book a week and like last month I will post our monthly round up at the end of the month with all of our thoughts.

2- Wool by Hugh Howey as a buddy read. I only started this last night but I am enjoying it so far, interested to see where it goes…

What did you finish reading recently?

Since my last post I have finished 4 books:

1- ‘The Silent Wife’ by Karin Slaughter. I gave this book a 3/5 in the end – It was ‘ok; but it didn’t blow me away.

2- ‘A Wedding in the Country’ by Katie Fforde. I gave this book a 4/5. Really enjoyed this story, especially the strong characters.

3- ‘The Promise’ by Lucy Diamond. I also scored this one a 4/5. I particular enjoyed the very satisfying ending.

4- ‘The Two of Us’ by Andy Jones. I gave this one a big 5/5 stars. I absolutely loved it and cried through most of the last third.

I’ll be posting full reviews of all of the above up on here shortly, so keep you eyes peeled for those!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up I am planning to read ‘Where Ravens Roost’ by Karin Nordin. This was one of my ‘12 friends, 12 recommendations’ books and I recently got approved for a copy of NetGalley, I can’t wait to dive in.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my WWW Wednesday post, please drop in and leave a comment.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?
