WWW Wednesday – 22nd September

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I’ve done this a couple of times now and I am really enjoying taking part. For those who don’t know, the three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you finish reading recently?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading four books:

1- Nine Perfect Stranger by Liane Moriarty. For the first time in forever I’m letting my bestie down. She’s finished it and I’m at least 200 pages behind! I am really enjoying it though, keen to see how it ends.

2- The Christie Affair by Nina De Gramont. This is our September #TsundokuSquad read and I’m not going to be candid about this, I’m not enjoying it. Need to force myself to finish the last part for Saturdays final chat!

3- Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. I’m loving this one, only 30% ish through so far but can’t wait to read more.

4- The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R Tolkien. I read about 20 pages and I haven’t picked it back up since. I will try to read more of it soon but it didn’t enthuse me…

What did you finish reading recently?

Since my last post, I have finished 0 books. I’ve been incredibly busy and I honestly am finding it so difficult to squeeze in my reading recently!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up, I’m planning on finishing the ones I’ve already started – boring answer I know but I’m not feeling too ambitious on what I think I’ll get read anytime soon…

I hope you’ve enjoyed my WWW Wednesday post, please drop in and leave a comment.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?

  1. Coincidentally i have just finished Liane Moriarty’s The Husband’s Secret. Quite an interesting read. Not sure about the ending. Have also just diversified into the classics and have read Brideshead Revisited. Now just started Stuart Turton’s The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle ( very weird book) . Will Follow this with Ernest Hemingway, For Whom the Bell Tolls.
