Another Book Challenge I’ve set myself this year was to take 12 book recommendations from twitter friends and promise to read them all in 2021. This was the list I have ended up with from the first 12 recommendations I recieved:
- The Switch – Beth O’Leary (@kirstyreviews)
- Stay With Me by Ayobami Adebayo (@readsmikaela)
- Wool by Hugh Howley (@paperbackmo)
- Where Ravens Roost by Karin Nordin (@mozidogreads)
- Away with the penguins – hazel prior (@traceyT80651091)
- Leonard and Hungry Paul by Rónán Hession (@owlbesatreading)
- The Quality of Silence by Rosamund Lupton (@jhbrines)
- The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai (@emmajo15)
- No child of mine by Susan Lewis (@littlemissbook6)
- Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart (@georgiedeedee)
- The authenticity project by Clare pooley (@wendysydall)
- Sisters by Daisy Johnson (@bigbookseller)
I only own one of these (The Switch), so I’m going to need to do some shopping (might have already bought 3 of them on eBay!). I know the idea is probably to read one a month but I might wait a couple of months and then do 2/3 in one go. I shall see how the mood strikes me.
Do you have any of these you could send me?? Just joking, BUT if you have read any of these let me know what you thought please – hype them up for me!!👏🏽👏🏽
Sounds like a fun reading challenge. I have not heard of these books before. Which one are you most excited to read? 😊

Either the Switch or the Quality of Silence as I’ve read and enjoyed other books from those authors but I’m equally excited to try these books and authors that I’ve never heard of before!!🤞🏽

I read Stay With Me through BorrowBox which most libraries in the UK seem to subscribe to! They had the ebook and the audiobook. Might help save some money!
